These days, customer perception of your brand weighs heavily in the success of your business. As an automaker, few (if any) factors are as important as whether consumers think of your vehicles as cool or fun to own.
Assuming this to be the case, Ford Motors must be feeling pretty good about the state of its F-Series line. For the second consecutive year, Ford was the recipient of the Best Overall Truck Brand award in Kelley Blue Book’s 2015 Brand Image Awards.
Ford has won the Best Overall Truck award six times in the past seven years. Because Kelley Blue Book’s standing in the industry as a vehicle valuation organization, winning a Brand Image award is quite the feather in Ford’s metaphorical cap.
The 2015 Brand Image Awards were determined by a Kelley Blue Book consumer study that polled over 12,000 new vehicle shoppers on their perceptions of auto brands. Shoppers cited the 2015 F-150, Super Duty F-250 and F-350 as the standout models in Ford’s truck lineup.
The Kelley Blue Books recognized 13 winners across seven categories, including best luxury and non-luxury brands. The winning automakers will be presented with trophies during the New York Auto Show.
Of course, the Best Overall Truck Brand award isn’t the only honor the hugely popular Ford F-150 has earned. For a complete list of the F-150’s awards and accolades, go to The Ford Motor Company Media Center.
