Here at Elk Grove Ford, serving drivers in the greater Sacramento area, if there's one 2013 Ford model we are most looking forward to, it's the 2013 Ford Escape. The SUV is already widely popular, and we think its appeal will continue to grow, particularly if the pre-order numbers continue to climb higher and higher.

As Ford is in the process of reinventing its next-generation with upgrades in look, design, and performance, we've seen fresh looks for many new Ford models that have hit our lot here at Elk Grove Ford. The Ford Explorer on the other hand, has seen minor upgrades over the last few years, but it has never gotten that performance upgrade it deserves, which is why we're happy to hear that the wait is over, as Ford announced plans for the new 2013 Ford Explorer Sport edition.

Auto Start-Stop to be Offered on 2013 Ford Fusion

With prices soaring at the gas pump, reaching up to $4.00 or more per gallon, saving money on gas is a priority among drivers in Elk Grove, Sacramento, and beyond. Ford is well aware of this, which is why it has developed many fuel-efficient vehicles in its lineup, ranging from the 2012 Ford Fiesta to the Ford Focus, and even the Fusion Hybrid equipped with a roomier interior. But what about those out there who want to save on gas, still have the room inside the cabin, without buying a hybrid? Well, Ford has the solution.

Ford Focus Gets a Taste of EcoBoost in Europe

The Ford Focus is one fuel efficient ride, and you won't find anyone here at Elk Grove Ford who'll argue otherwise. But the American automaker does have plans to make it even less dependent on fuel, at least overseas. In Europe, Ford is planning to release a variant of the Focus that's equipped with a 1.0-liter EcoBoost engine, the likes of which produces the same amount of horsepower as a 1?

They're going to be police Interceptor variants, that's what.

Everyone here at Elk Grove Ford knows that quality matters every bit as much as price and performance. Finding a vehicle that embodies all three qualities in a positive way can sometimes be a hassle, but that is why the good people at J.D. Power and Associates came up with the Initial Quality Awards.

The reason why we bring this up is because heading up the large truck segment of the 2011 J.D…

Ford Teams with the Competition in Order to Propel the Industry Forward

Why would an industry giant like Ford decide to team up with the competition? The answer is actually quite simple, which is why we here at Elk Grove Ford thought we'd take a minute to go over it with you. See, there is quite a bit at stake in the automotive industry, and it only makes sense for the top players to cast aside their differences in the name of helping their loyal customers…

Ford Sync System Lowers in Price

At Elk Grove Ford we are pretty big fans of the Ford Sync system. It could be the fact that the system offers drivers turn-by-turn directions, music search, vehicle health reports, personalized daily info. (i.e., stocks, movie times, horoscopes, etc.), business search, traffic alerts, and travel services. Or, it could be the fact that it encourages safe driving, by offering drivers hands-free calling and audible text messages. Maybe it's the fact that if…

Ford Gives the 2012 Explorer a Boost in Fuel Economy

August is filled with a number of great reasons to celebrate. From Left-Hander's Day to National Marshmallow Toasting Day, this month is in no shortage of special occasions. But, we here at Elk Grove Ford think that there is one that trumps all others. We, of course, are talking about the arrival of the all new 2012 Ford Explorer.

How can we compare the changes in the 2012 Ford Explorer to those seen in…

Ford Knows Europe Loves the Fiesta

While we here at Elk Grove Ford love the Ford Fiesta, we know that Europe has truly fallen for it. The Fiesta just launched in the U.S. this year, but it has been zipping around the streets of the European market since 2008. That is why it doesn't come as any surprise to us that they will be getting a special edition of the Fiesta before anyone else.

Ford has made a number…
